I do see quite a few retailers losing out in their businesses as they have refused to embrace online for selling their goods. Kudos to those who believe and can still enjoy getting orders for their products.
Same goes for F&B, there are many F&B outlets who refused to embrace the food delivery apps citing huge commissions to the food apps. Now, it seems they are helpless and would rather close for business.

If I owned a high end F&B I would hire freelance delivery guys (like my own crew) even if I had to provide a motorbike.

That's actually a good idea and possibly something F&B should consider investing in for the long term. Understand they were afraid food app are drawing a huge commission so their own bikes might be the solution.

Talking to a F&B owner and his problem at the moment is that there are so many new delivery guys that often the food doesn't arrive in a good state. No experience and no thought to proper handling. A lot of the places around me are using their own staff to deliver to improve the situation.
They are all doing it tough though, having to rely on their networks to get orders.

If you really want to support restaurants who are not using these apps, check out the Singapore Restaurant Rescue group on Facebook. Lots of choices for food across a wide range of price points.

When you uninstall an app on the phone, does it still has the permission to record video/photos/access your gallery etc?
Last post
Permission no, but there maybe some left over files by the app in the device.
