Hi
My EP was cancelled on 31st March 2020.
I have a visit pass till 30th April.
Now considering the COVID 19 situation, it appears I wont get to go back to New Delhi, India.
I have asked my company HR who had cancelled the EP.
What is the procedure to apply for extension for the one month visit pass I have?

ICA online visa extension
For MOM cancelled EP's, you must use MOM SVP extension and not ICA Online Visa Extension.

Martincymru, your case is different as you were on an SVP correct? Not a canceled EP (this time).

Hello! Hope everyone is healthy and safe.
I, too, have the same situation and needing some further advice. Although I have done it already (my former HR has applied the extension and was approved) and it will expire on 4 May. I am wondering if I can do another extension, do I have to go through it again as I have no plans of going back home yet because of the recent situation.
On the other hand, I have a local spouse (got married in Perth and both females) and I am thinking of contacting ICA to inquire if I can apply LTVP and if will they recognize our marriage certificate.
I am constantly worried.
What do you guys think?
Thank you!

I doubt this will fly: "no plans of going back home yet because of the recent situation"

Hi, may I know how long did it take for MOM to approve your request?
My pass is expiring on 9 May, so my HR can only apply on 2 May. I am worried as there is a public holiday next week which might affect the approval time.
Thanks in advance!

Hi!
The first time my HR applied last month took quite long like 5-6days but this time around it only took 4 working days. I think shouldn’t be an issue ‘cause they are the ones who said to apply 7 days before the STVP expires. Good luck!

I see. Thanks for the information!
My HR has just submitted the application today. Hopefully it is approved soon as it will be difficult to get plane tickets nearer to the deadline.

Yeah, actually that was my worry before also. If they reject, then booking tickets will be rushed and ofcourse will be expensive as well.
Anyway, goodluck again!
