STVP issued after EP Expiry date

Post by duybachhpvn » Mon, 06 Apr 2020 3:21 pm

Hi,

My EP was expired on 3rd April Friday. However it seems that the HR in my company did not cancel it on that date and my STVP was only issued on Monday 6th April, with validity till 6th May. I already have a new IPA for a new company which I will start on 13th April.

Did I overstay on 4th and 5th April? If I did unintentionally like that... what should I do? Do I have to pay a fine and Will it affect the insurance of the new EP in my new company?

Thank you

If you were issued with a SVP as per normal, you are okay. Don't worry about it.
