Apply for a job right now or wait ?

Post by Mayflower » Tue, 15 Mar 2005 1:43 am

Hi there,

We are planning to leave for Singapore soon from USA since my husband landed a job there. The question I concern is: Do I need start to apply for job before we leave or wait until we settle down in Singapore. Any difference between them?

My husband’s offer package includes housing, school for kid (age 5 - 18), and medical insurance. But not includes the Auto and child care (we have 2 year old baby).

I have M.S degree and 3 years working experience in IT field in USA. And B.S. degree and 3 years working experience in IT field in my home country. According to my background, what salary I will expect? Is it strong enough to apply for a job now?

Highly welcome your advice.
