You may or maynot get it this time. In case if it is rejected, wait for 1 year and then reapply. You will mostly get it
Thanks for the reply :)
May I ask your opinion on the impact of or relations between covid 19 and pr approval? Just curious about what you'd think?
Few things MAY happen
1. Because of the economy slowdown, number of PR issued MAY reduce
2. Processing time MAY increase because of the circuit breaker, etc

For your case, there should not be much of impact because of point 1.
Thanks! Have a good day ahead :)

Congratulations for getting approved :)
Mind sharing your background and when did you apply?

I'm a Malaysian Chinese female 26y/o, been here 1.6yr, applied in January 2020 and waiting for update (hopefully approval).

Thanks in advanced :)
2 years working experience in Singapore (Fresh grad) when I submitted for approval. Salary about $2.5k only. Single, male, 26 years old, EP holder, Malaysian, BA (US Grad), Chinese, paid income tax

I am waiting for my IC now.

You applied PR after working/residing in SG for 1.6 years or 1.6 months?
Oops, typo! It is 1.6yr.
You may or maynot get it this time. In case if it is rejected, wait for 1 year and then reapply. You will mostly get it
I checked my status yesterday and it changed to approved! Couldn't be happier and definitely a memorable one as it was SG 55th National Day!
I checked again today and noticed the approval date is actually on 3rd August. Either way, I am grateful for the approval and the input offered by this forum :)

If it's helpful, my profile for reference:
26F
Malaysian Chinese
Bach Degree w/ Honours in Malaysia
2yr working experience in SG (applied after 1.6yr in SG)
1NOA at time of application
Applied through PTS scheme
Submitted birth cert with English translation along with original Malay version

Everyone who's waiting, I hope you get your good news soon too!

Hasn't received the approval letter yet, wondering how long it will take to reach? And how long will I get the IC after appointment?
