PR Application Approved - What To Do Next?

Post by xRaymond » Thu, 26 Mar 2020 9:17 am

Hi Guys,

I check my PR application yesterday and it is approved.

What should I do next?

I haven't received the IPA letter.

Anything I should do in advance before go to the formalities appointment?

Just curious what are they going to ask me in the interview.

Thanks!!

Wait till the IPA letter arrives. It will have complete details on what all to do. It is not an interview and it is just completing formalities with some document verification.

Hi,

Thanks for your reply. Can check how many times do I need to go before I get the NRIC?

Can I check where to get the Re-Entry Permit (REP)? It only explains what is REP, but never state where to get it....

They will pass it to you on the spot after PR completion formalities.

If I fill up the EP152 Form (Certificate of Employment form) wrongly, can I reprint and fill up again?

You have a lot of questions. What did you fill wrongly in that form?

 #-o ](*,) :-k :oops!: Seems ICA occasionally makes mistakes when granting PR.

Congratulations for getting approved :)
Mind sharing your background and when did you apply?

I'm a Malaysian Chinese female 26y/o, been here 1.6yr, applied in January 2020 and waiting for update (hopefully approval).

Thanks in advanced :)

You applied PR after working/residing in SG for 1.6 years or 1.6 months?

You may or maynot get it this time. In case if it is rejected, wait for 1 year and then reapply. You will mostly get it

May I ask your opinion on the impact of or relations between covid 19 and pr approval? Just curious about what you'd think?

Few things MAY happen
1. Because of the economy slowdown, number of PR issued MAY reduce
2. Processing time MAY increase because of the circuit breaker, etc

For your case, there should not be much of impact because of point 1.
