[Citizenship Application] - Question

Post by thirdbanana » Mon, 16 Mar 2020 12:31 pm

Hi all,

I applied for my Singapore Citizenship sometime last year. I recently got married, and I was wondering if this would affect the outcome of my application. Any advise on how to approach this, like providing ICA with details would be helpful. I have already provided my marriage certificate to ICA.

Thanks in advance!

If you have already provided your marriage certificate, you dont need to do anything more. If they need any additional documents, they will write to you. Salary looks on the lower side. Did you serve NS? Are you a second generation PR?

Hi singaporeflyer, no, I'm a first gen PR. Yeah, salary is on the lower side. Been meaning to switch jobs. But waiting for this to be sorted before I made the jump.

Only reason they can consider to give you is you have stayed here for long and integrated. 40% chance.
