Updating Status

I am currently holding a PR and given only 1year extension.
My status was married then. I was divorced in 2014 and yet to update the status because I am afraid my PR will be strip off by the sponsored from my ex husband. a little bit of history, there are some complication in this relationship. I don't get married for the sake of PR as we were together for 15yrs before we get married.

He had now been working overseas and only be given 1year extension for him to relocated to Singapore.

I wish to have an independent PR and to update the status.
Will this affect my next REP ? as the divorce were dated in 2014.

I am currently employed and had been with this company for 3yrs.
Had been working in Sg for 10years.
Please advise what should I do ?

Please inform ICA promptly. If you have been working in SG for the last 10 years with a salary that is acceptable by them, they MAY consider to renew your REP In future.
