Malaysian Chinese 24y/o male irreligious
Engineer $40k/year
Bachelor's Degree (2nd Upper)
No prior FT employment & no history of tax assessment
PR Processing Time: ~4 months
Applied via PTS (Single) under EP, right after I got my 6th month payslip.
Hard copy letter came 4 days after online approval notice.
Btw some of my documentations are in Malay, submitted without translation.
So glad to be away from the messed up political scene in my home country
Why do you need to check the CPF portal?WCF wrote: ↑Tue, 25 Feb 2020 12:34 pmcongratulations! glad that you got it approved. same malaysian chinese, same PTS (single) EP here but I've submitted the form on June 2019 and this has been pending close to 9 month as of now. Good luck man! No need to check CPF since you will get a new NRIC for that if successful.
One tell tale sign that Malaysians in general are handled differently is the fact that (from what I recall) the forms ask for Malaysia ID details. That is a dead giveaway.sundaymorningstaple wrote: ↑Mon, 02 Mar 2020 4:54 pmWanabe,
We've (I've) mentioned the fast tracking that is often available to Malaysian Chinese trying to come to Singapore and gain PR. We don't normally use that information in our general answers because you cannot find it on the MOM or ICA websites. It's the same as Malaysians gaining EPs with only salaries of 2400~2600/mo salaries if holding a decent degree (or a Singapore based degree).
Did you study in SG before? Or you apply for PR directly after 6 months of stay in SG.ExpatThrowAway wrote: ↑Mon, 24 Feb 2020 10:31 pmKick start with my own profile w/ PR approval granted last week.
