LoC requirements for contract employer + switching from LoC to EP

Post by onegoodday » Mon, 24 Feb 2020 12:10 pm

Hi there,

Recently I've moved to Singapore, following my husband who landed on a job here. He's an EP holder, and I'm a DP holder.

Currently I have a job offer. Because the company wants me to start soonish, it would be best for the employer to apply for a LoC (I think). Curious to know if there are contract specifications for the employer to get the LoC approved? For example; 6 months contract as a minimum? I would work fulltime, so that should be fine.

Later on they might be open switching to an EP. Is this possible when you're already working for that same company with a LoC as a DP holder?

Thanks in advance!
