Just wondering, why ppl state their religion?
Does it have any weight in PR or citizen application?

It could if they think that person may also be bringing in radical thinking.

I noticed this too! I wonder if it's because they saw others state it, or if they are thinking it may be important. The latter could be cause such religious distinctions are known to be important in their country of origin.

Well also the common logic is that ICA only asks for relevant information they care about and religion is one of the item on the PR application form you need to fill in. Unless this has changed recently. So there's a logic to believe that it is one item that has some weight. More that MP letter or volunteer work that is not asked. But anyway it seems quite logic that it might have some weight.

Hi singaporeflyer, yes i resign and left sg 2016 and go back sg 2017:)
All your experience in SG prior to 2017, will reset to almost to 0 for PR evaluation. So, I would say your chance for PR will be very very low.

Very Low Chance unless you stay and work here for 3-4 years.

You may get it, except salary is slightly low. But Bro PR and owns a condo may not add points in my view.
