Could you please evaluate the chances of my PR application being successful? I plan to apply this month.

Age: 30
Gender: Female
Marital Status: Single
Race: Indian
Current Pass: EP
Education: Ph.D. in Engineering from a top Singapore uni
Duration of stay in Singapore: ~7 years (Including Ph.D.)
Occupation: Researcher in a semicon company
Salary: ~73k per annum
Work Experience: 1+ year
Number of tax assessments filed: 1

Thank you!
Ethnicity is a major negative. It will rather depend on what kind of research you are doing and whether it is specifically what Singapore is looking for. Salary is also low based on ethnicity.
It might be in a field they want to be strong in, but with only 1 year's work experience it probably does you no favours.
You never know, but I would recommend waiting for at least 3 tax years before you apply.

Hi All,
i applied for PR recently, i want to ask my chances of approval, based on your experience in this forum can i know my chances.

Age : 27
Race : Chinese
Gender : Female
Marital Status : Single
Education : Top university in Europe/UK
Job : IT system engineer in finance sector
Length of stay : almost 4 years
Salary :84k+ base salary

Ethnicity is a positive and you are young. Do you have kids? These also factor into their decision.
Have you be working for all your time here?
I wonder if I am the only person who dislikes it when people say they went to a "top university". Who would say they went to a bad university :D

I think you stand reasonable chance.
I don't think your nationality helps you in this case, but your ethnicity does.
You are youngish, salary is ok, and you have submitted a few years of taxes.

I would apply if I were you and see how it goes (waiting time seems to be 12 months or more)

Good luck and we would appreciate if you gave us an update on your outcome.

Hi

Thank you for the reply. My Ph.D. was in Material Science and I am currently a member of the R&D team of my company, working on microelectrical device fabrication.

Apply after 2 -3 years of working in Singapore. Is the top Singapore Uni a local Uni?

I think your chance is pretty low with such little experience.

My view is, apply, but don't be surprised if you get a rejection.

Hi all,
I applied for PR last year Oct (second time), I want to ask my chances of approval:

Age : 29
Race : Chinese
Nationality: Taiwanese
Gender : Female
Marital Status : Single
Education : Bachelor of Sciences
Job : Technical Product Manager in FinTech (UK startup, invested by SG company)
Length of stay : almost 7 years
Salary :84k+ base salary
Pass: EP

Came to SG in 2013, started as Customer Service Agent in the aviation industry, WP with 20K+ base salary
Applied in mid-2016, worked as Quality Analyst for a well-known SG startup, SP with 36K base salary. Received reject letter 4 months after applying.
Applied again in 2019 Oct, worked as a Product Manager for small SG startup, EP with 66K base salary
Joined my current company in 2020 Jan.

ICA requested a letter from my new employee and my family curriculum vitae in Feb. Also called me to confirm my current address in July after I email them my new address.

Please let me know what do you think! Thank you :)

You may have a chance. How long are you on EP?
