Hi,

Please help assess our chances. I know it will be very slim mostly because of our race but we still gave it a chance. We submitted earlier this month.

We applied as family together with our 2 kids. It will be our first time to apply.

Here is our profile:

Husband
Age : 33
Race : Filipino
Education : Diploma in Computer Engineering
Current Field of Work : IT
Experience: 12 years
Length of stay in SG : 7 years
Salary : 80k+
Pass : EP

Wife
Age : 33
Race : Filipino
Education : Bachelor
Salary : 30k+
Pass : DP

Appreciate your thoughts on this.

Thank you.
Chance is going to be less and the current COVID climate will make things even more difficult for PR.

You have a fair chance. If you are rejected, reapply after 1-1.5 years.
On a lighter note, I am little confused on your marital status

Oh... is a typo there.
My martial status is single. ICA still process PR application during this period?

They surely will, but the processing speed will be slow due to COVID, circuit breaker, etc

I did but it got rejected and didn't bother applying again
Do you know why? Didnt meet the salary criteria etc?
My basic was $85 lower but after adding some Taxable benefits, it was higher than the requirement. I guess they just looked at basic portion. Now its easily over but i thought of taking a chance with PR for the third time.
May be the nationality could play a part

4. volunteer letter ==> government has seen too much of volunteer work during application time and MIA after got it. Dont think it add any value on the application.

7. a cover letter ==> 0 value

8. Malaysia marriage certificate ==> just curious, when you get married.

I have married since year 2016 and the previous marriage certificate is only the Myanmar Marriage Certificate with translate copy, and malaysia marriage certificate have done last month March 2020, and submitted to PR Application Email.

Then what do u think on my success rate of this third time PR application?

Not sure about the chances as nothing significant has improved. Good Luck now. In case if you dont get it wait for 1-2 years and then reapply.
