Dear Experts,

Please help to assess the below profile,
Main Applicant:
Age:44
Race: Indian
Gender: Male
Religion: Islam
Education: Master
Current field of Work: Engineering in public sector (contract position)
Salary/Annum: 115K
Work Pass: EP
Spouse:
Age:39
Race: Indian
Gender: Female
Religion: Islam
Education: Master
Current field of Work: Tourism Industry (permanent position)
Salary/Annum: 82K
Work Pass: EP
Duration in SG: 5years 2 months
No of tax returns: 4 times (2016 to 2019) for both
Children: 3 in DP, Two studying in mainstream school and one in International School.
Family ties: SIL’s (Wife’s Sisters), two of them Singaporeans and my brother and sister are SPR ( all with family been here for many years). Also, my parents as well as my MIL are in LTVP.
+ Actively engaged as volunteer in community club since 2016 to support and organize the activities.

Applied for 5 (family) 3 times already;
2016 June – Unsuccessful, got response within 4 months
2017 April – Unsuccessful, got response within 8 months
2018 June – Unsuccessful, got response after 1 yr. 4 months in oct 2019

Would applying alone (me as applicant) first followed by family later increase the approval chance?
Appreciate any comments and feedback. Thank you so much.

Would applying alone (me as applicant) first followed by family later increase the approval chance?
No

Based on what you have said, it is going to be tough for your PR application to be approved.

Chaotic situation for the family, relocating back to rural home town will deprive good education that children currently receive from IP secondary and primary school in Singapore.
Can shed more light on pros and cons of the profile, what to improve? Thank You in advance.

Hi All,
I'm going to try my luck for the first time in this forum. Appreciate if you guys can advise me on my chance, applying PR for my family.

Myself:
Vietnamese, 37 years.
Bachelor - NTU, Singapore on MFA scholarship. Mcs in Europe.
Basic salary ~ 11k/month. Bonus: 3-6 months
Job: Manager level, Oil and Gas, Giant Chemical company

Length of stay in Singapore ~20 years (since 2001). Granted PR on March 2006. Paid tax each year.

My wife:
Vietnamese, 36, got a Degree in Vietnam, Mcs in Europe. Have been in Singapore since 2009. Salary around 5.8k/month. EP since 2009. Tax paid each year.
She is a Landscape Designer (Architect)

My son: Vietnamese, born 2011 in Singapore, Student Pass
My daughter: Vietnamese, born 2015 Singapore. LTVP.

I have been applying for PR for at least 5 times for my family and got rejected. I served Grassroot Leader since 2017, did quiet a lot of volunteers and donate quiet a lot for charity.

Thank you in advance. Really applicated.

Yes unless NaeSSean can show he/they are ethnic Chinese Vietnamese.
I not lawyer/teacher/CPA.
You've been arrested? Law Society of Singapore can provide referrals.
You want an International School job? School website or http://www.ISS.edu
Your rugrat needs a School? Avoid for profit schools
You need Tax advice? Ask a CPA
You ran away without doing NS? Shame on you!

Low chance. Basically you have already shown ICA/MOM you are a flight risk for a few dollars more.

Your circumstances suggest little to no chance. Your salary is ok, but negatives:
your (and your wife's) ethnic group
wife is not working

When you say applying as main applicant, do you mean applying without your wife and child?
Salary is good, gov doesn't really care about bonuses and investments

As SMS says, you just up and left from SG so probably unlikely.
Looking back, if you had applied before you moved to Oz (assuming similar circumstances), you might have got it then.

Once there is a break, the previous stay is not count.

If you apply as family and your wife and child has been in India for 2 yrs.
Chances is almost 0

Wife and child were in India due to unavoidable family requirements. However, that is over and they are due to come to Singapore later this year. Will that make any change as I would apply only after they are here and will include them in the application ?

Unless they bring something special to the table, it changes nothing.

Such as vaccine or med that can cure covid and can be mass produced in SG.

Or bring those companies who are looking to list in HK to list them on SGX instead.

These are some of the examples of what will surely help your chances.
