Hi all,

I'm considering applying for PR with family members , can you help to assess my chance ?
Thank you.

Main applicant
Ethnicity: Malaysian Chinese
Gender: M
Age: 32
Status: Married
Length of Stay/Work: 13 year
Qualification : Skill Cert (F&B) Local
Title: Chief Chef (Japanese)
Pass: SP
Industry: Service
Base Salary: 35k

Spouse
Ethnicity: Malaysian Chinese
Gender: F
Age: 30
No. of Child: 2child (son) not schooling yet , 2.5years old & 1years old
Status: Married
Length of Stay/Work: 11 year
Qualification: Diploma (Business Management) Local
Title: Customer Services Executive
Pass: WP
Industry: Manufacturing
Base Salary: 30k
Pros:
Ethnic quota favours you. 60-70% of any PR approvals would be for your race.

And having sons to serve NS seems to be a plus.

And you have been here for so long.

Cons:
Salary.

Would applying alone (me as applicant) first followed by family later increase the approval chance?
No

Based on what you have said, it is going to be tough for your PR application to be approved.

Thank you for your response. :(

Chance will be very low.

Reason - Breaks in your work history in SG, you are in a industry that is affected more in the current situation and also salary looks to be on the lower side.

Hi,so i have been living in Singapore for 3years and working under the loc ,I got local wife and 2 years old daughter. This passed months being rough for me and my wife until we had to bring it to court.she also cancelled my LTVP.
But after court counselling ,we understood we needed to be more responsible and make better choices for the best for our daughter
So we have decided to quit all court proceedings and reapply the LTVP after close 2 months cancellation.
My questions will this be an issues with ICA approving LTVP again, looking at the circumstances of its cancellation.if we reapply?
Did you lose your job? Your wife did something really silly as there is no guarantee the LTVP will be re-issued (or at least quickly).
I not lawyer/teacher/CPA.
You've been arrested? Law Society of Singapore can provide referrals.
You want an International School job? School website or http://www.ISS.edu
Your rugrat needs a School? Avoid for profit schools
You need Tax advice? Ask a CPA
You ran away without doing NS? Shame on you!

Hi, I am a Singaporean male and I am applying for PR for my wife for the 2nd time. Since we are new to this, I would like to seek some general opinion on the chances of PR approval. We applied the first time in June 2019 but was rejected, which I kind of understand as we were married for only 2 months at the time and she did not have LTVP then. Now we have been married for 1 year 5 months and she also got her LTVP approved last July

My stats:
Age: 25
Nationality: Singaporean Chinese
Religion: None
Education: Currently fourth-year in NUS, one of the top students and also with secure doctorate positions at a top 10 school in the USA.
Salary: 1.2K stipend per month (scholarship)

My wife's stats:
Age: 25
Race: Vietnamese
Religion: None
Education: Bachelor's degree from the USA, currently second-year master's student in the USA
Current field of work: Essential healthcare field
Length of stay: ~6 months for now
Salary: None
Pass: LTVP
She has been doing internship at SGH.

Any comments on the chance of approval will greatly be appreciated. I also have a concern about my salary. Although I am not working yet, I have stipend and we are both living with our parents for now. I also mentioned that to ICA when applying for LTVP and it was approved eventually. Do you guys think the same situation will hold for PR application? Thank you very much
