Hi all,
Been reading for a while and will appreciate if anyone can help to assess my chance for PR:
Nationality: Chinese Indonesian
Gender: Female
Age : 29
Education : Diploma from SG local private institute (graduated 2011), currently taking part time undergraduate (completing in Jan 2021) in SG private institution
Job title/industry : manager in hospitality industry
Annual salary: $36K
Studied diploma here from 2009-2011, and been working in SG since 2012 (hospitality industry)
Applied twice before ,2015 and 2019.
Thanks in advance!
Apologies if I made some mistake in posting in forum
Chance will be low.
I agree with SF’s assessment. And will add on some points:
+ve - being Indonesian Chinese, have been here for >10 years, studied and work here
-ve - income level a tad too low, to make it worse, being in hospitality, one of the hardest hit industries during this crisis and 2 prior rejections.
Increase in your income level and completing your undergrad studies may help to some extent.
I’m not suggesting a marriage of convenience for the sake of gaining PR here (I need to stress that). But you may have a better chance at it through spousal sponsorship route, if you’re married to a Singaporean or at least a Malaysian or fellow Indonesian Chinese, who is already a PR i.e. Sinking roots, forming a family cluster.
