Hi all, I would appreciate any feedback on my application:

I applied for a first time back in January 2019 and got rejected after six months with no invitation to apply again.

Nationality/Race: French/ Chinese (Chinese parents, born in France).
Age: 28
Status: EP Holder (1year+ with current company).
Total length of stay and working in SG: 5.5 years

Master's degree in business and finance from Paris, France. Now working in consulting/sales for digital advertising.

I speak intermediary Mandarin and Spanish, I am fluent in French & English.

Salary: 88k pa base salary
Dependent: none, single. [/list]
Few concerns about my application:
Due to the current economic situtation, my company had a 20% wide paycut since May and it will last until July included). This is of course reflected on my two previous payslips.

During my short career, I changed jobs a few times (from sales in IT/finance to digital marketing/advertising).

Thanks & Regards!
I think your salary seems a bit on the lower side - most people say $7k, but I like to use 10k as a sturdy reference point.
How many years have you been paying taxes? You say you have been in Singapore 5.5 years, it's not clear if you've been working (and paying taxes) all the time then. There is a suggestion here that at least 2 if not 3 years of tax records is important.

The current economic situation is not as significant as the current political situation - the drubbing the PAP got in the popular vote suggests they are going to clamp down harder on the foreign work force.

In any case, there is no harm in applying and seeing what happens

Thanks for the prompt reply. Good points. This is only my second year that I paid taxes. During my first 2+ years I was under a special working arrangement between FR and SG Gov where I would not pay taxes in either countries (VIE program) as I was officially voluntereeing for the French government to help French companies expand in SG. I also took a six months gap in between.

NO even less. Probably effectively zero at present.

You want an International School job? School website or http://www.ISS.edu
Your rugrat needs a School? Avoid for profit schools

Why are you duplicating same post in multiple threads?
