Try call ICA and see what they advise. We had something similar but for birth certificate since the original was abroad. Called and the officer said to bring a printed scanned copy, though yours might differ. Perhaps they might extend the IPA. Best to check with them.

speaking chinese may help. direct family member -> has to be like father/mother/son/husband etc. Cousin or a distant relative, etc will not work.

Thank you for the feedback. It's actually my sibling. Would that make the case stronger since its a direct family member?

Any spouse? Salary is pretty safe, age is a little on the high side. Not sure about the ethnic quota though.

The best thing you can do is contact the ICA directly to explore your options. In times of COVID I would expect them to be more understanding. If you explain your circumstances, they may be able to provide you with alternatives.

Typically a scanned or faxed copy should suffice, if the original copy is inaccessible.

Salary, education, age, and duration of stay are all good. I say you stand a decent chance.

Not sure speaking Chinese will make a significant difference. It does show an effort to assimilate culturally, so if anything, thats a good thing.

Hello everyone

I want to apply PR again this time and want to know the chance of approval.

My background
- Age: 28
- Race: Chinese
- Nationality: Chinese
- Gender: Male
- Marital Status: Single
- Education:
Bachelor of Engineering: Chinese 985, 211 category university
Master of Engineering: NTU
- Industry: E-commerce
- Position: Software Engineer
- Year basic salary 96k
- EP Pass holder
- Live in Singapore: 6 years+
- Application history: rejected 3 times

Notes:
Finished the 3 years Service Obligation Bond for the tuition grant in the Master study.

Question:
My girl friend and me are going to marriage soon this year, she's doing her phd study in NUS/NTU full-time and been stay in SG for 5 years. Should I apply alone before marriage? Apply alone after marriage? Or apply together after marriage?

Thank you for your time to review my humble profile and have a good week ahead.
