One of my other friends (Indian, power couple, mid 30s) got their approval in 4 months too.

Hi, yes I am currently waiting for the IPA letter to be delivered to my mailbox.
Big congrats! Seems like you saw 'approved' on the portal :)
Yes, i saw the approval one week after the submit document button disappeared. It was a long week of wait 😂... saw that yours just disappeared too. Wishing you nothing but the best of luck!
Thank you so much. I hope your wishes help me and the results turn out to be in favor.
Will keep my breath on hold meanwhile ;)
Will keep the forum posted on whatever the result is.

SF, I know some Indians who are here in Singapore and with PRs who tried to apply for citizenship with one goal in mind - to be able to get an easier work visa in the US. This is what the gahmen is probably wary of.
and here I am, awaiting the PR application results after rejecting 2 offers for moving to US.
I think that the idea of getting Singaporean passport for US jobs is no more something Indians run for. (just an opinion)
Hard to say what the trend is and if what you say is true, then is it because the Singapore government has weeded out the people who want to use the Singapore passport to get to the US or some other reason which I can't think of.

Out of curiosity, why did you reject the 2 US offers?
Yeah, could be. Its more of an opinion based on personal interactions than something baked up by data.
Why did I not take the US offers: Again a very personal reason. I now want to settle at one place. Moving to US will again bring the uncertainty with green card process. If you'd like to know more or share any thoughts, please PM me :)

So did you submit extra docs earlier and now the button disappeared, or, you just received request for more docs?

After the submit document button disappeared, the system is allowing me to make new PR application (which it earlier did not)

So, you indirectly know the result I suppose.

Not really, cuz the application apply opens up even for those who get it approved (happened for one of my friend)

Yes it does open up for a successful applicant as well. The reason is probably because once you become a PR, you can apply for a PR for dependent who is not yet a PR.

So basically, you know right now that there is a decision but you don't know what it is.
