Re: PR approval chance in 2020
As an Indonesian Chinese woman with 8 years of assimilation (3 uni, 2 S pass & 3 EP) in Singapore, I reckon closer to 70-80% success as you will will be ticking all the right boxes. There was another Indonesian Chinese girl on here this morning who recently got her PR here with only a diploma (schooling here in Singapore, on S pass, but with SGC Brother & PR Sister already here). Odds are pretty good for qualified females from Indonesia. Not quite as good for males however due to NS issues and Indo/Sg laws.

There was a case posted recently, a Bangladeshi gentleman of similar age married to a Singaporean woman also of similar age difference. He has his own business and probably earns very well but was rejected. I suspect that it will probably be similar for you.Swam wrote: ↑Fri, 14 May 2021 3:42 pmHi All,
Please help to advise or evaluate my PR chance
Married local Singaporean 54 working as Admin executive, I am Indian race 35 working IT sector.
My wife salary 6.5K monthly included Allowances,
Mine salary 4.4K monthly Included Allowances.
Applied PR 2020 July , status still shows pending.
I holding LTVP 2nd time renewed valid until 2023.
Married 2019 February.
Please advise my chances of getting PR. First time applied 2016 , 2nd time applied after marriage.
Year of Staying Singapore : 8years
One of my friend same Indian race he get his approval in 6 months , he applied 2020 September and get approved April 2021 , (first time apply). He got married 2019 March holding LTVP , his age 31, his wife age 33 his salary 1.3K monthly and his wife 1.8K Monthly.
Comparing to your friend (who's wife I'm guessing is also a Singaporean) is probably not right because their age difference is not as great as in your case. There might have been other factors as well for him.

Re: PR approval chance in 2020
To be blunt, there is a very good chance that ICA will potentially view it as a marriage of convenience. e.g., a quick way to get PR when otherwise unqualified. It's doubtful whether you wife will produce any offspring via this marriage, and with her being almost 20 years older, I personally don't see it differently either. You chances? I'm betting zero. Sorry, on the surface it is what it is.

Re: PR approval chance in 2020
Hi all,
I am an Indian from HK, been in SG for 5 years now, applied in Aug 2019, updated the ICA when I moved address twice and received an increment. I received the letter on delay in processing time in April 2020 from ICA. Submit documents went missing in late March 2021. It has been almost 21 months since I applied, should I simply continue waiting or reach out to ICA to check.
Thank you for all the help!
