Thanks for the positive thought. Good Luck to you on your next application and keep trying if you got the heart to become a new citizen here 1 day..

Hi LKPHY

Did you receive any update on your result?
Mine is still showing pending now.
Waiting for the Rejection so I can move on 😂
Hi truthhurts1,

I have just check this morning earlier today when i awake, it has been approved!

Although it just updated to approved today (I checked yesterday it was still 'pending'), the approved date was 8/4/21, means exactly 13 days from the 'upload docs option disappeared on 26/3/21.

How about yours? should be the same as mine
Good Luck to you!

Yo man great news. Congratulations! I told you that yours will be approved !
Mine is still pending as of today but most likely I expect a Rejection this week.

Hi All

Just to update, my PR finally approved after 20 months... the waiting time is worth... :D

Sharing my PR application timeline here:
July 2019 - Submit for PR application
Jan 2020 - Update ICA about my new passport
Jan 2021 - Update ICA about my salary and also pass renewal
28 Feb 2021 - Received email from ICA asked for my family CV
02 Mar 2021 - Submit to ICA for my family CV
11 Mar 2021 - Noticed that 'Submit Requested Documents' button is missing on the ICA page
18 Mar 2021 - Checked ICA website and it was PR approved. Received my IPA a few days later.

@maddyjojo, hopefully yours will be coming soon as well...
Thanks everyone who has been helping me and answering to my questions!
To those who are still waiting for result, good luck and hope you guys can get yours soon!

Hi All,

I applied for PR since July 2019, but still pending. I have received a letter from ICA on May 2020 informed me due to Covid19 the average processing time for each PR application will be longer. I would like to find out any chance of approval, based on your past experience.

Age : 32
Race : Chinese
Nationality: Malaysian
Gender : Female
Marital Status : Married (My husband is PR)
Education : Bachelor’s Degree in Hotel & Tourism Management (Malaysia)
Job : Admin Executive in Hotel & Tourism Industry
Working Experience in Singapore : 10 years
Salary : 37K+ P/A
Pass: Employment Pass

And my Employment Pass is expiring on next year March. Due to the tightening of the work pass requirements, my HR was strongly encourage me to apply for LTVP since my husband is PR. Should I proceed to renew my Employment Pass while I’m waiting for my PR approval or apply for LTVP?

All advise are welcome and appreciated very much

Hi guys,

I am Vietnamese. I have read many comments and realized that I have very low chances to get PR because of my nationality. However, in terms of my ethnicity, my great-grandpa and my great-grandma were Chinese. Will it boost my application? Is it a stretch to you guys?

It will still be a stretch but if you have documentary proof then get it translated and give it a try, but yeah, it will still be an uphill battle, I fear.

If you have some kind of documentation for this on your birth certificate, etc, it may add value to an extent. But claims without evidence may be tough to verify.
