Too short. Currently the time taken is around 8+ months - 15 months. You will get it. If rejected, reapply after 2 years.

Not going to be easy. Within the limited quota that is available, ICA would go for the skills that is in great demand as per my personal view.

Hi guys! Needing your guys assistance on calculating my chances of getting PR

Ethnicity: Malay
Nationality: Malaysian
Age: 31
Gender: Male
Marital status: Married
Applied for: Myself only
Education: B.Eng (Computer Engineering)
Length of stay: 5 years
Pass type: EP
Occupation: Network Engineer
Salary: SGD 50k Annually
Work experience: 7 years
SG Tax Assesment: 4 years

Applied on mid September 2020. Just recently got an email from ICA, requesting for my Family members CV. Already upload the necessary documents on MyICA Portal.

Asked 2 of my colleagues who recently got their PR Approved regarding this. Both if them saying that they didn't get those email during their waiting period before.

Hoping to hear good news. Thanks in advance.

It’s not going to be easy. Limited quotas for Indians, overwhelming list of applicants.

Those with family ties to Singaporeans at the top of the waiting list.

Then there’s the pile of undergrads from local universities who has gone through 4 years of brain washing/integration.

Good luck.

That was a typing mistake. He is a Product manager.

You should apply, nothing to lose other than a token sum.

Please update the forum once you get the result. Good luck.

Hi All,

New to this forum and it is indeed helpful on a host of topics.

I will be applying for PR shortly, if you could be so kind as to give me a view on my chances.

Age - 46 years old
Race - Indian
Educational qualifications - Masters degree from a reputed university in the UK
Period of time in Singapore - 12 years on an EP.
Running my own company in the shipping and transportation of bulk liquid commodities.
Salary declared to IRAS - SGD $180,000/- pa + variable annual bonus ( last FY bonus was about 4 months salary as declared to IRAS)
Had initially worked for an MNC in a senior position for several years before deciding to go on the entrepreneurial route.
Employing locals in my company.
Marital status - Separated.

The first time I will be applying for PR, would be obliged if a view could be given on the chances based on the above.
