currently, I'd say low to zero. What is your 'basic' salary?

Posting here for the first time. This forum is indeed very useful.
I applied for PR in October and was expecting the application to be picked up for processing in about 4-6 months as per guidelines. To my surprise, I received notification for additional documents yesterday ( within 2 months). They have asked for degree certificates for me and my spouse. I did submitted all my documents in the first instance so not sure why it is requested again. Unfortunately, we do not have my wife certificate so I only applied with her transcripts.
Not sure if this worsens my chances.

Yeah, even I think so. How does a promising profile look like, I wonder?

I applied in October too. Haven't received any communication from ICA yet. I think it does not mean anything.
My two cents, just give them what they are asking for and hope for the best. Nobody seems to know the internal workings of the process. And on this forum, mostly people can guess.

If you read through the forum, there are many cases where it is easy for certain category, etc. So will that be considered as promising?
Also ICA wont reveal a promising or a sample profile because people will start to tailor make them.
What we know is the criteria or benchmark needed varies based on ethnicity mainly due to the quota available. So, the more the quota, the easier the benchmark will be.

You're right. Where can someone find the statistics pertaining to the quota for this year or the next one?

Read this
https://www.channelnewsasia.com/news/si ... s-11941034
the % is close to fixed based on the ethnicity, etc. But ICA won't reveal what is the quota for the year etc.
Only after the year is over you can see how many PR's or SC's was granted based on the statistics.
