1 said should apply via marriage. We should go do some charitable work as well to build a profile, etc.

Appreciate taking time to read. Thanks in advance.
Apply by yourself after 2 years of marriage is complete.

Should be a walk in the park, me thinks.
Not purely from the salary angle, it’s more towards the ethnicity and possibly the hse.
And the age.

Second LTVP
LTVP Renewal Application: 17 Oct 2018

Hi. I recently applied for my PR in January but until now(November) still pending. I received an email back in September requesting for my recent 6 months payslips. Does this mean i have a chance?

Hi, I have been following this post for quite some time and I would like the experts to give me some advice on my PR rejection.

My profile:
Age: 24
Nationality: Malaysian
Ethnicity: Chinese
Education: Degree in banking and finance (Malaysia Uni)

This is the tricky part. I was holding EPass when applying for PR (last Nov), but recently due to covid, and my reduced in salary, my company couldn’t renew my EPass (I tried to ask HR to renew and appeal under Epass but unsuccessful) and now I’m staying in Singapore under work permit. Sadly enough, my company had a retrenchment while renewing the work permit and it felt like everything came at once.
I thought I would be a shoo in for PR and formalities could be done before my pass renewal in September but it took them 1 year to reject me. 😂

When PR application filed (Nov2019):
Pass: EPass
Salary: estimated 50k/year
Job: cabin crew

After renewal + retrenchment (September 2020):
Pass: work permit
Salary: 1700$
Job: cabin crew

13 November 2020: PR rejected.
May I know is there any way that I can appeal using my retrenchment letter. Or I should appeal when I get my new job (hopefully SPass). Or is there any other way to try.

Thank you so much and I can’t wait to hear your advice.

You mean you got a retrench on Sept 2020 and found a new job (work permit)?

Nope. My company was kind enough to renew our permit for us to stay in Singapore until December to either make necessary arrangements or find a job if we wanted to. So currently I’m still with the airlines company but looking for a new job.

If you're applying for PR on your own merits, you'd definitely need a job.
I'd suggest trying again when your situation improves.

It may be because of the industry has been impacted and hence the rejection. Wait for a few years and then reapply.

During the application, as of what I know, it wont ask for any medical details.
