I just recently moved to another employer. But I've been working here in singapore for years now. can I already apply for PR, or do I need to wait to get my 6th month payslip in my new employer? since it's part of the explanatory_notes_and_document_list_for_PTS checklist requirements.

can I just combine my previous employer payslips with my current to fulfill the 6mon payslip requirements?

thanks in advance!

Hello, some advice would be appreciated for PR application chances :)

I'm a Malaysian female, just graduated from a Singaporean uni and will be starting work soon. I plan to apply for PR once I get my 6th month payslip. I also have a Singaporean boyfriend, we are planning to get married sometime in the future but we are both still young.

Would it be better to register for marriage then apply for PR via his sponsorship or apply for PR under my E-Pass? Would chances of approval be different for these two modes of application?

Thanks in advance!

Depends on when you want to apply. if 1 year after marriage, via sponsorship would be better.

Even if you need to apply by yourself, you would need at-least 6 months of payslips and so you can better wait for 1 year and apply via spouse sponsorship

You already graduated from uni… you should already be in your 20’s? That is plenty old enough to get married… and have kids! Unless you have other reasons besides “both still young.”

Perhaps they are just not ready, and don’t want to get married purely for immigration purposes.

Probably will not be approved until you have been married 2 years. But you will probably be able to get LTVP+ but as you are already on a WP you should stay on WP until married two years.

Hi Folks! Posting an update from my side. After a almost 20 month waiting period our PR application got approved. We received the approval on 8th Sep. Completed PR appointment on 30 Sep. Received the IC earlier this week.
Would also like to appreciate the forum members here as they post valuable insights on the whole process and made the waiting period a little easy on applicants like ourselves.

Seeing as you’ve only just recently gotten married, not sure how the ICA will interpret that. SMS pointed out the same concern, so I’m not the only one who thought that. Perhaps wait a couple years before applying?

Hi guys! Needing your guys assistance on calculating my chances of getting PR

Ethnicity: Malay
Nationality: Malaysian
Age: 31
Gender: Male
Marital status: Married
Applied for: Myself only
Education: B.Eng (Computer Engineering)
Length of stay: 5 years
Pass type: EP
Occupation: Network Engineer
Salary: SGD 50k Annually
Work experience: 7 years
SG Tax Assesment: 4 years

Applied on mid September 2020. Just recently got an email from ICA, requesting for my Family members CV. Already upload the necessary documents on MyICA Portal.

Asked 2 of my colleagues who recently got their PR Approved regarding this. Both if them saying that they didn't get those email during their waiting period before.

Hoping to hear good news. Thanks in advance.
Finally approved after 13 Months. Thank you for all info here...

Husband:
Age: 34
Workpass: EP
Duration in SG: 5 years
Nationality: Indian
Education: Master in Computer Science (India)
Position: IT (software engineering lead)
Annual salary: 130k basic, 155k incl bonus

Wife:
Age: 28
Workpass: Spass
Duration in SG: 6 years
Nationality: Vietnamese
Education: Bachelor in accounting (in VN), then completed ACCA in SG
Position: Senior Accountant
Annual salary: 60k basic, 90k incl bonus.

We dont have children yet.

May I know what are my chances? Thanks in advance!
Chance will be little low.
Update: we have applied by May’2021 and today the button “upload documents” disappeared. Also I can make new application as well. Guess it means we will have rejection soon.
