Greetings everyone~
I would like to thank you for taking a looking at my chances, much appreciated.
My family and I moved to Singapore last July. I have been a China Subsidiary CEO of a listed Korean Online game company. I later opened my own online game company in China and recently opened a company here in Singapore that does mentoring and consulting to internet startups in Singapore that wants to expand to China and Korea, and also consult Korean and Chinese companies that want to do expansion to Singapore.
I am here with my wife (DP), and two children (boy 8, girl 4) both attending an International School here.

Age:46
Race: Koreaa
Nationality: South Korea
Gender : Male
Marital Status: Married to a Korean woman (39), she doesn't work, I included her in the application
Children: 1 son (8 years old) and 1 daughter (4 years old),both in international school, I included them in the application.
Religion : Confucian/Buddhist
Education : Undergrad at top Korean University, Wife Masters in Top Korean University
Current Field of Work : Internet/Online
Current Job : Managing Director
Length of stay in Singapore: 11 months
Salary: 216k
Assets: Have over USD 30M worldwide..planning to move USD 10M cash into Singapore Bank if that helps
Pass : EP

The company that I work for is subsidiary of my father's company in Hong Kong. We plan to employ a Singaporean soon.
I currently have hired an agency to prepare the PR application process. We plan to submit next month.

Thank you again.
Why don't you apply under GIP?
https://www.edb.gov.sg/en/how-we-help/g ... ramme.html
the GIP requires that I work as management of a company with over USD 50M in annual revenue in the past 5 years...I don't qualify for that...my own online company in China did not get qualify for that

Chance is going to be too less now. In the current situation, i feel you have waited too long already and might have missed the chance already. Salary may be on the border too

Thank you. I will still take my chance to apply.

I never thought of this when I was still single back then. When I got married with my wife in 2017 is the time we decided to apply PR. Since she's still new to Singapore we plan to apply after 2 years.

Also my salary is low back then, this my first time having a management job.

Fairly decent profile and have been here for a while now. Should have a decent chance. Just need to be prepared for the long wait for the outcome.

Limit is USD 200m/year. (USD 0.5b/year if it's a next gen business)

These days it's pretty much only major businesses or family offices either courted or invited here, who qualifies for any kind of leg-up with PR. They're just not interested in smaller businesses or investors.

I reckon it is going to be a long wait as there are too many if's at the moment. In fact, it's doubtful any PRs will be actually granted at the moment regardless of how long you have been waiting up to this point. If you think about it, it makes sense, considering the unemployment that is happening and the destruction of the economics of the island. At this point all here on some sort of work pass need to worry more about just keeping what they have. First to go will be the Foreign Worker (WP holders). Then if the covid continues, the WFH foreigners will be next (outsourcing - if you are a S or EP holder and are currently Working From Home, they are liable to be the next to go considering you can work from home in your own country, for a company here in Singapore. Finally, if the unemployment among Singaporeans goes high enough. I think the government will be more concerned about getting them re-employed, than bring in new PR / Citizens. So, no, I don't think you chances are particularly good at the moment. From a personal/family perspective aside from the usual problem with race here, I don't see anything untoward in your profile. Just timing.

However, as you are a gambling man, nothing ventured, nothing gained other than the loss of the application fee as long as you have the stomach for rejection. Good Luck

Chances will be little low

Reason
1. Salary on the slightly lower side
2. Ethnicity
3. Age

Hi, appreciate an evaluation of my chances. Thanks!

Primary Applicant
Age : 33
Race : Indian
Gender : Male
Marital Status : Married
Education : MS Software Engineering
Current Field of Work : IT Consultant
Length of stay : 6 years (from April 2014)
No of tax returns: 6
Salary : Basic 110K , Bonus 10K
Pass : EP

Spouse: Singaporean Chinese
Education: Bachelor of finance , CFA
Salary: 95K Basic + 22K Bonus
Married July, 2019
No Kids.

Applied for the first time last year September , 2019 under the SC spouse scheme.
Wanted to wait for up-to a year before applying but had to apply earlier to appease father-in-law. (I can understand his concerns.)

I received the standard letter from ICA stating the increase in PR processing duration. However my concern is that given the current pandemic if i lose my job what are my options to stay with my wife as well as find a job that doesn't require EP/SPass.

If you lose your job, you can always get an LTVP with your wife as sponsor (assuming she works and earns sufficiently enough to convince ICA that you will not become a burden on the government). Generally that isn't a problem. Then you might find a job easier, should that happen, using the Letter of Consent.

You may need to wait alteast for 2 years after marriage to get your PR. Just my view.
