There’s a good chance that you would not get any approval, under present circumstances. Simply because there’s too few quotas now, and too many better qualified Indians.Singapore bird wrote: ↑Wed, 24 Feb 2021 3:40 pmHi,what are my kids pr chances.

Secondly, it would be wise to start thinking of contingencies. The thing about PRs, is that it offers safety net up to the date it’s due for renewal. And renewal is contingent on staying employed. Being 46 is fine, but a few years down the road and things may get tricky due to the age/renewal. As sg inc likes to put it, middle aged folks past 40 are always at the risk of retrenchment.
A few years ago, an Indian ex colleague of mine was retrenched and the PR/reentry permit was up for renewal. ICA gave him a renewal of 1yr, conditional of securing a job by the next renewal.

if both of you increase your salaries, the chances will improve.Singapore bird wrote: ↑Thu, 25 Feb 2021 12:51 pmI am a nurse before and changed my profession to safety,if i change my profession and practice to be a nurse is there any chances to get pr for my kids??is there any chances to get sg citizenship?and by this april they going to study in a private school in sg with student passthe observer wrote: ↑Wed, 24 Feb 2021 6:20 pmThere’s a good chance that you would not get any approval, under present circumstances. But if kids are not living and studying here for atleast 3-4 years, chance is very very low

Re: PR approval probability 2020
Hi,
I'm planning on applying for the PR mid of this and I'd like to know my chances.
Country of Origin: India
Age: 27 and Single
Work experience: 5 years 7 months in Cyber security
4 years in a top tier consulting company (1year in Singapore)
13 months with a Tech Giant (In Singapore)
Currently working with a government company on EP
Worked in Singapore for exactly 2 years now and filed for tax returns twice.
Salary: 1,20,000 per year (inclusive of bonus)
Industry: Cyber security
Volunteering: I help a local animal rescue organisation and another group to distribute meals to seniors.
Education: I hold a bachelor's in Computer Science from India and also applied for a part time MS in NUS in the same field (positive that I'll be accepted)
I understand that my ethnicity is not in the upper hand here but just hoping if I even have the slightest chance.
Looking forward to the response!

Apply after 5 years of work in SG. If you finish MS in NUS is an additional bonus too.Cipher wrote: ↑Fri, 26 Feb 2021 12:21 pmHi,

Re: PR approval probability 2020
Frankly, I'm surprised they haven't invited you to become one. You definitely tick all the boxes with the exception of race (but nothing negative, just a null factor) especially after being here for 10 years and a heavy dependency on local talent in your own company. I'd say you will be a shoe-in, truth be known.
