Re: PR approval probability 2020
1. Ethnicity
2. There are a lot of local residents in IT Sales and so it is not a job scope in demand in SG
3. If you would have studied in a local uni with a bond, you might have some minor advantage.
4. Fixed salary on the lower side.

Hello all, looking for your opinions on my chances. A bit about me:
Origin: India
Age:26
Relationship status: Single
Education: Masters from NUS, currently serving my obligation
Job: Software developer at a local brokerage (only company I worked for in Singapore)
Salary: 53k+ annually including bonus

Chance will be less than 10% unless you WORK in SG for 4-5 years, also complete your service obligation and show increase in your salary. 53K is on the slightly lower side.pr_applicant_2020 wrote: ↑Wed, 15 Apr 2020 9:47 pmHello all, looking for your opinions on my chances. A bit about me:

Married for less than 2 years.
Wife’s job nature and income is not sufficient to sponsor your application.
And your nationality / ethnicity is also not in your favour.

1. If I were to switch jobs soon after completing 2 years in my current one, does it hurt my chances?
2. Does the current situation (COVID, economy etc) have any impact?
Thanks again.
