I would say your chance is reasonable. Salary is good. Age is probably about right.
The only thing that I would say is that your ethnicity works against you as there a great many Indians applying and those are the people you are competing against.
Also, you might find that you aren't considered a long stayer yet. I would say 5 years is long enough, but others here might disagree with me.
What IT job are you doing?

Seems like it will be an in demand role so I think you should go for it.

However, don't be surprised or saddened if you get a rejection the first couple of times!

First time I applied with my wife in 2017
Second time I applied with wife in 2018
Third time applied with wife n baby girl in 2019
Now applied in may 2020 with wife n my baby girl .

Pls advise me if I have any chance to get the PR, we want to settle down in SG only but disappointed not getting the PR.

Thanks in advance
Good luck! Your chance is not zero.

But consensus is that there will be a surge of applicants this "season", plus an expectation of a lowered quota.

Do share the outcome.
Today my PR REJECTED again, not sure what do I need to do to improve my chance , very sad :(

How do you improve your chances when you’re up against a quota.

Simply put, you need to stand out within your crop. How many highly paid Indian EPs do you know of.

You need to take note that the gahmen/pap is still paying a political price for dishing out PRs liberally 10 years ago or so.

You’re young-ish. Earn quite a fair bit for your age, and in a sector that’s hot.

The fact that you have been rejected implies that the quota for Indians EP holders are pretty much utilized.

Nothing you can do for now. Try again when sentiment changes.

Unless of course ica has now determined that you have the profile of someone who is transient in nature. Nothing you can do about either.

Fwiw, pre election, pre covid, I think a profile like yours would have gotten it

Wait for atleast 1 year and then reapply.

Will appeal make any difference or reapplying after 6 months makes more sense?

40% chance as best guess.

No
I not lawyer/teacher/CPA.
You've been arrested? Law Society of Singapore can provide referrals.
You want an International School job? School website or http://www.ISS.edu
Your rugrat needs a School? Avoid for profit schools
You need Tax advice? Ask a CPA
You ran away without doing NS? Shame on you!
