Application history -
1. I applied once when I was single 2 years back and was rejected after 6 months.
2. Applied second time as a couple, Sep last year with me as main applicant, rejected recently after 6 months.
Wanted to know what we could add to our application for acceptance and when would be a good time to apply again. We have social ties here - Aunt, Uncle, cousins who are SC, dunno if it helps.
Appreciate any inputs! Thanks.
Sure understand, Thanks!sundaymorningstaple wrote: ↑Wed, 10 Jun 2020 10:08 pmIf not any "MAJOR" changes, as you are a researcher, you should know, same data in, same data out. Wait for 2 years then try again.
Thanks for your inputs!singaporeflyer wrote: ↑Wed, 10 Jun 2020 10:12 pmThings that may not be positivejustinquisitive wrote: ↑Wed, 10 Jun 2020 9:45 pmHello, Would like to know your thoughts on our PR application probability -

1. Salary for main applicant on the lower side
2. Ethnicity
Make some good progression in career, salary, etc and then reapply after 2-3 years.
SC - Aunt, Uncle, Cousins - Does not add any points in the application.
Try again and you may get it. Are you not working? If you are working and have a good track record for income, it may make things easierkogepan wrote: ↑Thu, 11 Jun 2020 4:59 pmHi!

If that’s the case, since you’re currently unemployed, have you thought about taking courses or certification to enhance your employability and PR chances?kogepan wrote:Hard to find job with my education level. I just got the LTVP+ last year. Previously companies reluctant to apply for LOC quoting no headcount for foreigners

What do you think are my chance of an appeal?
Very good profile - education (more so in local school then uni), married couple, optimal age, length of stay in SG and above average income.
