Is there any chance or percentage of getting approved? What will be the possible reason/s for rejection?
Reason may be slightly low salary, ethinic quota ?

Primarily due to nationality and race.

Is this your first PR application?

Hi,

I applied this year and got rejected after 5 months. Would appreciate if anyone has an idea why I got rejected after a short time. I do plan to stay in Singapore for good if possible, and plan to reapply again asap.

Age : 28
Race : Filipino
Gender : Female
Marital Status : Single
Education : Bachelor of Science in Computer Science
Current Field of Work : Software Development/Technical Consultancy
Experience: 7 years
Length of stay in SG: Almost 4 years
Salary : Basic is 68k+, 74k+ with bonuses
Pass : EP
Volunteer Work: 1 year, but plan to continue after

Thanks everyone.

Likely due to your nationality and race.

Volunteering work almost has no bearing on your chances of success. You volunteer because you genuinely want to help not because you hope that it will add merit to your PR application.

You want to reapply ASAP - then you need to have a significant change (improvement) to your profile. Going in with the same profile as the last round, save for longer duration of stay ain’t gonna be of much help. And maybe the most important part of your profile is not something you can change.

I did start my volunteer work before I decided to apply for PR, but I included it in this post because I was told by friends it could be a factor. Thanks for the feedback.

Volunteering is of absolutely nul value. Been misused far too long. If anything it now raises red flags as they (ICA) will just assume it is a ploy and nothing more.

Are you sons in the local school system? Have they been included on your PR application? If not, you will never get alpproved.

4 applications in less than 8 years just shows ICA you are desperate. You should have not made your first application until you were on at least you 1st EP renewal. Yes, it say you can apply after 6 months but unless you are a rocket scientist or brain surgeon, it's never going to happen. Applying every year isn't going to help either. We don't know enough about your qualifications, industry, position or salary to make any other guesstimates. It could be a combination of factors.
