thinking of applying PR. chances ?

Post by hellofriday » Sun, 12 Jan 2020 2:25 pm

Hi,

I'm thinking of applying PR and was wondering if i stand a chance. Always wanted to be SC but my parent are not PR so they can't sponsor me. Been studying & staying in SG since kindergarten > primary (PSLE) > secondary (N & O levels) > Polytechnic (Engineering Diploma). SG is like my home and i see myself as sgrean rather than msian. As i just started work for only 6months, should i apply now or wait 1-year ?? Also planning to marry soon (local SC) and need to be PR in order to BTO.

To add-on, i didnt get any invitation from govt. Probably because im not scholar/top students in school. result is quite bad actually lol. Also not sure if in the past, can apply PR under "foreign student" like currently anot but i remember i went ICA to ask before in primary school and they say i can't.

Age : 26, single
Nationality : Malaysian
Race : Chinese
Qualification : B.ENG from Aus uni (not distance learning).
Salary : 3k/month , S-PASS (started 6months ago, recent freshgrad)
Job : Engineering

Please advise.

Thankyou.
