Transshipping-dropshipping via(through) Singapore

Post by zoran82srb » Fri, 20 Dec 2019 5:47 am

Hi to all, my friend and me, we are starting a dropshipping store with electronic components and robotic parts. Our suppliers are on aliexpress, and our fulfillment center has a warehouse in Singapore.

The point of all this is that Singapore is our temporary and mid-point for sending all products to the rest of the world. In short, we would ship Aliexpress products to our warehouse in Singapore, and shortly after repacking and fulfilling the orders by our fulfillment center, we would ship the products to our customers in the rest of the world. Initially, our products are not intended for sale in Singapore.

I would be very grateful if anyone could briefly explain or point me to a place where I could get informed. I've been googling for some time now, I've been reading the Singapore Customs site, but I can't find anything specific about my issues. I am curious about our obligations to the State of Singapore as we forward products through it.

Thanks, Zoran.
