PEP status not available yet

Hi there, I have applied for pep online myself on 9Dec2019, I received email from MoM saying they received my application. I know it takes 8 weeks max, but I can’t find the status of my application in online yet. Status shows my previous ep update not the pep application submitted on 9Dec2019. Any reason?
Also I submitted my application only for myself, not included DPs. I thought I can submit DPs after my outcome/result. Should it be ok submit DPs later?

It takes sometime to show up the application on the system. Long ago it took me 4 weeks to appear on the system.

Yes, you can apply DP later. But i am not sure why you didnt apply together. As their DP processing again might take few more weeks.
