At a crossroad, need some advice from forumers
Some information:
Myself - Singapore, Divorced recently 4k employment and another commission based salary about 1k
Wife to be - PRC on Spass, Divorced 3k. Previously worked in SG and return to work since May 2019
We have been living together so far. She has been working in Singapore for close to 2 years hence i thought to make things easier and she has more choices of job. She could apply for LTVP and gain a pass easier to seek more employment choices
My question is which route would be a better route? i'm afraid of stigma of divorcee in the eyes of ICA. If fail in PMLA, can still apply for LTVP?
Many thanks appreciated

Your first step is to apply for PMLA. Has your wife to be ever worked on work permit in SG?

Better to have the PMLA done before the marriage
Re: PMLA? Marriage?
I have a similar worry about divorcee applying.
I am SC,never been married. My girlfriend and I intend to get married in Singapore. She is from China and divorced with a young son. She has not worked for 3 years but she is a degree holder and former CEO of a company. She has never worked in Singapore and has no intention to work here.
I have not worked in singapore for long since graduation and my cpf contributions is low. Just started a new job and I do not have 12 months income assessment to submit. However I have a sg pvt property in my name and a decent income. My girlfriend can submit her bank account to prove that she is self sufficient.
I wonder if we should apply for PMLA or just go straight to LTVP? What are the odds of being rejected?

Re: PMLA? Marriage?
Hi,
Just to update have decided to do ltvp instead of pmla due to various reason.
My question is are we able to apply for ltvp and pr at the same time?

Re: PMLA? Marriage?
I dont think you can apply for PR without being on LTVP. Secondly, chances of approval for PR is close to NIL if you are not married for atleast 2 years.acidburn01 wrote: ↑Thu, 27 Aug 2020 7:52 pmHi,
