Indian Licence Conversion - 2B+Class 3
Hi guys
1. I have a licence from Tamil Nadu, It has a QR code but no chip, issued in 2012. Is it accepted for licence conversion in Singapore?
2. If it is valid for both bike (with gear) and Car (Manual). So I can convert this to get both 2B and Class 3 licence?
3. If i pass BTT will i have to go through any practical tests again?
Thanks!

You need to do the BTT before your licence can be converted. I would suggest that you confirm with LTA that you are able to convert your licence before enrolling for the test.
If your licence can be converted you only need do the BTT, not practical tests. If it can't you have to go through the entire Sg licence process for car and bike.

old post but....
JFI LTA doesnt allow conversion of the motorcycle license as an Indian bike license does not have engine cc documented.

Things have changed over 8 years so emergency234 may have more current information.
We have seen people having trouble getting anything more than the 2B because they can't show their test was performed on a bike of the required cc rating. This wasn't the case 8 years back, then you only needed to show proof of riding experience on bigger cc bikes.

200cc is better than nothing if that's all that's on offer. Personally I prefer something larger but I did have a 250cc bike here for 10 years and it was just fine for Sg. No so good for KL trips though.singaporeflyer wrote: ↑Tue, 07 Jul 2020 10:01 pmOK. But is 2B or <200 cc not enough for riding non sports bike in singapore?
