PR status as a sponsored child

Hello.
I’m a second gen PR who is being sponsored by my father. My entire family is PR, all sponsored by my father. My father wants to renounce PR after our REP expires. Will I still remain a PR? Or can I become a student pass holder after he does that?

How old are you? If you had started working after 21, you can become an independent PR. Before that you still need to be under your father sponsored PR. So, if he cancels his PR (main PR), your PR(dependant PR) will also be cancelled

Then your PR will automatically be cancelled when your father cancels his PR/REP.
