my helper seems to carry bugs

Post by karenwang » Sun, 01 Dec 2019 10:35 am

I changed my helper last month and ever since she came, I realized some small bugs in the house.
I first found them in her room. She doesn't seem to know. She told me yesterday her back and legs are always itchy at night, but I am sure there's no mosquitoes in the house.
I am unsure what kind of bugs those are, they are very tiny and looks brown.
What should I do to clear those bugs coz I am afraid its gonna get worse.
My helper is very helpful and take good care of my kids, not wanna complain her or anything, but just wanna see how to help her get rid of those bugs as well.

Sounds like bedbugs. So all the cockroaches tearing up HK aren't the only bugs infesting Hong Kong currently.

I am quite sure they're bedbugs. You need to call in the professionals to rid them. Bugs spray won't help as bedbugs do have many nesting spots.

If they're not bedbugs then it could be head lice. Which I think she'll need shampoos formulated for head lice.

Don't think recommending anything local will do her any good as she's posting from HK. Another spammer trying to get a foothold in the forum, hence my oblique reference to HK in my post.

Yes it's probably bedbugs. No call for the moderator hostility IMHO.

You better hope I don't get hostile as you'll be history. As they are posting from your old stomping grounds, they are not up to any good here. But you already know that, and that's why you are labeled as a troll and not a contributing member of this board.

1 post asking for advice about bed bugs... yes that's a terrible post history.

Sorry if that's trolling but really, you make it too easy.

We often leave a probably spammer's post here just to liven it up a bit, but you need to remember that this is a Singapore Expat based forum, and 15 years of experience here allows us to easily spot those posts that are looking for a foothold so they can increase their post count and then add a signature link. As you are seemingly an IT person, you know damn well I'm correct. Which also makes it easy to bait trolls like you.
