Hi All,
I am an EP holder and currently, my parents are in Dependant pass staying with me. My EP needs to be renewed in March 2020 (with that the DP needs to be renewed as well). Since the criteria for applying for DP largely depends on the salary bracket of EP holder which is currently at 12K per month, I was just wondering is there any circulation or news from ICA whether for 2020 the salary bracket will be revised once again or not.
I will highly appreciate if someone can provide some info here.
Regards,
Yan

At this point in time I'm not aware of any change on the 12K/mo minimum salary requirement for sponsoring your parents. They are not currently in Dependent Pass but I think they are on LTVP, correct? Only spouses & unmarried children under the age of 21 can be on Dependent Passes.

If it does get revised, I suspect the threshold will follow the past trend and be raised further.
Best get that salary raised...

@sundaymorningstaple/ @BBCDoc correct they are on LTVP. But since it will be a renewal I am just wondering will it have to fall under new rules ( if there will be any) ? or since they have got the LTVP pass already and it is attached to my EP , as I renew my EP there LTVP should get renewed as well just like Dependent pass ?
Could you please throw show light on this I will highly appreciate that.
Regards,
Yan

If there were going to be changes, it would have made the information known at least 6 months in advance. MOM is pretty good about giving advance notice before changing anything.
