SPass Validity

Post by rca10 » Sat, 23 Nov 2019 10:06 pm

Hello Good day! I just want to ask for advices out of my curiosity.

Last February 2019, the company i’m working renew my SPass and it was approved and valid up to 36 months which is until February 2022. But due to my passport expiration on May 2020, my Spass validity shorten to April 2020. Then I already renew my passport.

My question is if I update my passport new expiration will my SPass validity will go back to original expiration which is on February 2022? or remain until April 2020? Thank you in advance for your response. God Bless!

Go to ICA an apply. That way you will find out. I'm not sure why you are even asking this?

Just asking only to gather information before I ask ICA..maybe What I am thinking is wrong that
once the new passport expiration is updated the SPass expiration will also go back to its original expiry which is on February 2022

One would think so, but I don't think we've actually had this situation before so cannot even give anecdotal evidence.
