Hi everyone!
I want to ask for advice about my case because I am not so sure about whether to stay or leave Singapore.
Currently, I have already resigned from my current company and the last day of work is 14 Dec. Meanwhile, I have already been employed by my new company and I got the IPA from my new employer already. My expected first day at work is 17 Dec.
May I ask in the gap time between 14 and 17 Dec, do I need to get back to my home country or I can remain in Singapore? Because after 14 Dec, I will have no legal pass to stay in Singapore, so I am a little bit confused about this situation.
Because of the private info, I have adjusted the day to not be the same as mine but the length of the gap between them is the same.
Thank you in advance

Something is very wrong with your message. Maybe you can clarify for a bit so that we understand the problem.
You say your last day of work is on 14 Dec. Are you on an Employment or S Pass or are you on a Work Permit? In either case your work pass will not be canceled until your last day of work, e.g., 14 Dec. At time you will automatically be given either a 7 (WP) or 30 (EP / S ) non-renewable social visit pass. So in theory you are fine as your IPA should be converted into your new employment permit by then.

Hi @sundaymorningstaple, thanks you so much for your reply.
I am now on SPASS and I am issued EP for the next job. So do you mean that I am automatically issued a 30 days social visit pass after my last day at work without any need of application such as I have to apply for a 30 days social visit to ICA by myself? If it is, then it means that I can stay and remain in Singapore with the IPA and wait until the next starting day without any illegal overstay/issue, am I right to say so?
