PR Rejected - Data Points for Moderators

My PR got rejected exactly after 6 months.

Providing data points for moderators who keep tab on trends and help others.

Race - Indian
Age - 41
Occupation - IT (CyberSecurity)
Salary - 17k
Stay in Singapore - 7+ Years

Applied as family (Wife + Daughter), wife working as well making 3k.

Ouch. I would have thought cyber security would be enough to breach the wall. And pretty fast too. Maybe there is a GE around the corner. (This is always a sticking point every 4 or 5 years). It's almost to late to hold the GE this year, but they have to hold it in 2020. I guess we'll just have to wait and see. I do appreciate the input though, sadly it's not good 'this time'. Hang in there, wait a year or after a GE if I've called it right and give it another go.

I thought CyberSecurity might help the cause, not sure being 40+ will take away some points ??

Normally the cutoff is around 45 but I would have thought the niche occupation would have offset some of that. If you saw my earlier rather long post on another thread about a rejection as well, you will see where I'm coming from. I'd still wait either a year or until the GE is over, whichever comes first.
