Credit Card Application

Post by stephanruhl » Wed, 30 Oct 2019 7:42 am

Soon I will be in Singapore with an EP, and want to get a card. I have found a site which compares the cards and so on ( https://www.finder.com/sg/credit-cards/ ... -residents ) already. The banks just give the cards ppl with a valid pass no matter how long (or rather how short) they have stayed in Singapore? Or there is certain time period that you need to wait for having some sort of credit/transaction history with the bank?

From what I remember, and it's a while ago now, if you have a letter from your employer that states your annual income, that will be enough. Along with your EP of course. I opened an account and had credit cards by lunchtime of the same day. That was Citibank.
