My wife is expecting in January 2020. I am making her fly back to India in December end, as we believe its better to have the baby delivered there.
Currently, I live in a master room with my wife. MY wife is also working. I am curious about what things I need to manage after the baby is delivered.
When my Wife joins her office, who can take care of my Baby during office hours? Can I continue in my existing 'Master Room', and just opt for a Nanny which comes during the time I am in office like 8:30 - 6:30 ? Do I really need to rent a 2-3 BHK house and keep a full time maid for this?
Best Regards
Varun

People here will usually rent 2 bedrooms of an HDB or
condo. 1 for couple and the other for helper.

Options are quite helpful. I am already considering a 2 BHK
condo/HDB + Helper as a viable option.
For the Nanny option, can we have a visiting Nanny that stays from the time, when I leave for office and, can go when I come back from office?

Very unlikely, unless the person is a PR or Singaporean. Others on Work Permit will not be allowed to work part time legally. What you are asking is like a part time option.

Normally , those work as nanny are housewife. So far, I dont come across nanny went to baby place.
They can do their house work while taking care the baby and cook dinner for their family.
To travel all the way to your place, it dont work for them.
By the way, not easy to find nanny nowadays.

There are, but 2-4 times expensive than hiring a full time helper.
Just an example for part time nanny, please see below
