The '$1.5mil' man
The '$1.5mil' man
What are your views on the $1.5mil man Ramesh? He verbally abused the security guard and behaved very badly..quite a sad behaviour from someone so highly educated.

Re: The '$1.5mil' man
The real issue is the rapacious management committee which is dominated by a bunch of idiots charging ridiculous fees.

Re: The '$1.5mil' man
As is so common, the messenger got shot (at least at the outset)
There probably was a problem with non-residents parking overnight leaving no space for residents who came back late. Rules such as parking levies are typically not passed without their being approved at an MCST AGM though. But since few people except management committee members attend those and they proceeded to act as they saw fit
Anyway, its not an excuse for entitled obnoxious behavior. Looks like the perpetrator is getting his lesson and won't repeat.

Not directly related but looks like the courts agree that management committees are being dicks: https://www.tnp.sg/news/singapore/judge ... t-corridor
Agree that it's no excuse to take it out on the security guards, they're just doing their job

Re: The '$1.5mil' man
The most important sentence from that judges ruling is the concern he had about a lack of evenhandedness. When I was on our MC I noticed that. Heaven help you if you're an Indian owner. This hopefully sets a precedent to push back on bigoted, biased, one eyed MCs.MikeJones wrote: ↑Tue, 29 Oct 2019 3:37 pmNot directly related but looks like the courts agree that management committees are being dicks: https://www.tnp.sg/news/singapore/judge ... t-corridor
