Renewing UK citizen passport

My boss is a UK citizen who's moving to Singapore and his UK passport is due to expire. He's a Singapore tax resident so he'd like to know how he can renew it.

However, I'd like to know if there are any special procedures he would have to apply for since he's no longer a UK tax resident? However, he is still a British citizen.

Unless urgent, it's done online. Tax residency makes no difference as far as I know.

Don't apply around holiday times, the usual 3-4 weeks can extend to several months. And tax residency makes no difference.
