Another one of those 'chance for PR' threads

Hey all,

Just one of those threads to chat about.

Trying to set some expectations/likelihood for the PR application I just submitted a few days ago.

Demo:
1. Korean
2. 29 yo, married (no kids yet)
3. EP, worked about 1y 5m in SG at MNC (transfer from US)
4. 11-13K SGD base
5. Studied in US, Cybersecurity specialist, have a patent filed

Personally I think I could have waited a bit more before applying, but we love SG so we're trying to stay here for long.

Chances?

30% at this point for a couple of reasons.

One positive point though.

- You have an occupation that the nation needs (Cybersecurity). How much negative weight this would offset I don't know.

The negatives.....

- Not here for "at least" 2 consecutive years or 3 tax assessments in time duration. Yes we are aware that it says you can apply after 6 months.
- As a MNC transfer with a very decent salary base, ICA would see a future transfer with the same MNC.

I don't think your ethnicity at this point in time would have any bearing either +/-.

Maybe some of the other seniors here have their own takes.....
