Dempsey Hill
A friend's been asking about places to visit at Dempsey Hill. Besides some food joints and furniture shops, are there other interesting shops to visit?

Almost if not all of the furniture shops are gone. In fact I have one piece I picked up a number a years ago when they were clearing it for the redevelopment . Indo Teak glass display unit built without any nails or ironmongery whatsoever.

Are we talking about Minden? It's mostly entertainment now sadly. However is it is serene for a inner city area and good for a nice walk around. The Sunday eve service at St George is a real pleasure as well. There was a restaraunt with a bunch of Toucans (birds) that they would put out every evening and there is still pond with two or three massive ribbon fish.
