Hi and good evening everyone!
My bf(SC) and I(German Citizen) are waiting for his divorce(finalization) on the 20th of November to come and planing to register to
ROM right after the finalization. Will there be any problem with that? Or is there any waiting time for us to do before going to ROM?
Hoping for your replies! Thank you in advance!

Have you booked an appointment yet? (for both stages; verification of docs and solemnisation).
You could also marry under a minister of religion which may be faster - I believe the German church here still conducts weddings.

The German church would still want to interview you first.
My point is you don't have to marry under ROM - Singapore recognizes other forms of marriage such as religious or overseas ones as well.
I not lawyer/teacher/CPA.
You've been arrested? Law Society of Singapore can provide referrals.
You want an International School job? School website or
http://www.ISS.edu
Your rugrat needs a School? Avoid for profit schools
You need Tax advice? Ask a CPA
You ran away without doing NS? Shame on you!

Interesting question - if someone marries overseas after already living here on a pass what do they do to inform the various Government agencies? Or does that only matter when issuing a DP (as I guess EP/S Pass wouldnt change)

Hi Ref - in my case it came up when I decided to sponsor my wife for a LTVP - then I had to show our Aussie marriage cert (she changed from a EP to LTVP).

As long as the divorce have been finalize. He is free to ROM with you. But do keep the divorce letter. That document is very important.
