i am a SC and my wife to be is from PRC and i would like to bring her over to Singapore next year. She will be working in Singapore too, want to ask if i am to apply for her via PMLA or she needs to find a job and get work permit first?
She has never enter Singapore before.

First apply for PMLA. That is the first and safe step to do, provided you will get married within a year

Thanks. Yea we plan to married within a year after PMLA is approved. Once PMLA approved, is she okay to get work permit if got offered in Singapore? Because i would like to get her to Singapore asap and start work.
LTVP heard takes quite a long time and i consider to apply only after we are married in Singapore.

Please do your research on LTVP. PMLA is to make sure you are eligible for LTVP when you apply after you are married. With a LTVP she can get a letter of consent and work after marriage

Thanks singaporeflyer! Here is my plan, not sure if this is fine.
1. Apply for PMLA.
2. Once PMLA approved, will received LLE but she will still stay in China while looking for job in Singapore and once offered she will get WP to come here.
3. Settled and work in Singapore few months later, get married and apply for LTVP.

This may well be a good way, but it could be a very long time frame. This way, her stay in China and your marriage may be quite some time away if she cannot find a job in Singapore while staying in China. She may only find a position in the short term on a Work Permit. Should that happen and she accepts it, then on top of everything else, you would need to contact the MOM as you need permission from MOM to marry a work permit holder. Just something to think about.

Hmmm. What will be a better way? After PMLA, come Singapore get married, apply LTVP and once approved, come singapore work.

If PMLA is approved, then very likely LTVP will be quick within 3-6 weeks. In this case, ICA will very likely extend the SVP considering that PMLA was approved

PRCs are having some difficulties due to past abuses by some regarding marriages to locals.
