One way to control hunger pangs if possible is to drink espressos. I used this method years ago when on an extreme low carb diet. But you have to be careful about what time of day you do it. Too close to bedtime and your sleep will be affected.
How does that work? Does it have something to do with the caffeine?
I hesitated a bit when I responded to your question. Just so that I could double check what I "knew" to be true. Google search yielded this interesting finding -
https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/23204152/
Tl;Dr. It's actually not the caffeine itself but one of the non caffeine components in coffee. Apparently it is found in a higher concentration in decaf so I will amend my previous suggestion. Decaf with no milk or sugar would be a good appetite suppressant

Ah, I see. That is really interesting, I doubt I’ll ever use it as an appetite suppressant, but its good to know!

you'll lose weight when you take in less calories than you spend. so ensure that you eat less and exercise more. it's not complex

Simply put, yes that is the formula.

1. Do not skip breakfast
2. Eat regular meals
3. Eat plenty of fruit and veg
4. Drink plenty of water
5. Eat high fibre foods
I looked up the point about fiber, turns out it works because foods high in fiber help to keep you fuller and curb your appetite.
Taken from google, “Soluble fiber helps keep your gut bacteria healthy and promotes overall fat loss by reducing your appetite”.

Don’t cut calories. Eat enough. Just get calories from Fats n not from Carbs. U will lose weight easily.

Don’t cut calories UNLESS you are consuming 2,000 calories per meal and not burning them off with a whole lot of exercise!
Portion control is absolutely essential for those who overeat. Who wouldn’t be tempted to sink their teeth into a giant double widow maker hamburger?
Every great and deep difficulty bears in itself its own solution. It forces us to change our thinking in order to find it - Niels Bohr

For most women, 2000 calories would only be for weight maintenance rather than weight loss. Taken from Healthline, “The average, moderately active woman between the ages of 26–50 needs to eat about 2,000 calories per day to maintain her weight and 1,500 calories per day to lose 1 pound (0.45 kg) of weight per week”.

Ya when I started keto, I did sincerely and lost 9k in 3 months. All my medical reports r better . Nothing detoriorated in 1.5 years. I am lighter agile.
My conclusion is it’s not weight loss. Eating Low carb n high weight is healthy From an internal health, hormonal and metabolic point of view.
Carbs r bad but by the time we realise , we blame it on age.
I am 41 and I feel I am healthier now than I was in 30s.

I think the main aim here to cut weight is to be calorie deficient?

Great results. But isn’t it the weight loss that made the difference? The diet caused the dramatic weight loss which lead to an improvement in your health.

Yes, but there are many ways of approaching weight loss. Various kinds of diets and exercise will all yield different results.

Not sure about him but I know from my own experience doing CKD years ago, you get this feeling of being clear headed and more energetic after the initial few days when you have cravings. Don't know if it's psychological, but I've read about other people reporting the same thing as well.

Well weight loss can be achieved by Calorie deficit also. But metabolic health n hormonal health cannot be.
Also chronic diseases like blood pressure and diabetes can be controlled by reducing carbs and eating high fat.
So I think weight loss is just one of the benefits. There r lot of internal benefits which is very tough to correlate to diet. We often accept it as part of Aging which is not really true.
I think Low card high fat or keto helps in weight loss but there is much more benefits which most normal people don’t understand.
